Our paper “P. Nabavi, S. Haq, and M. Yuksel, Empirical Modeling and Analysis of Water-to-Air Optical Wireless Communication Channels,” got accepted to IEEE ICC Optical Wireless Communications workshop. The work provides the first empirical study of a water-to-air optical wireless channel. There is a pressing need for high speed underwater communications, for which our work lays out a crucial step by understanding the reverse (water to air) channel properties.
