Our project objective is to monitor and report back to the user the amount of power being used by items in their home in both on and off states, and to inform them about the amount of vampire energy being used by most items in their home. The information will be reported back to the consumer via Bluetooth to a central hub station with an LCD and an Android application. This information will be displayed in terms of both Watts and dollars and cents it is costing them. There will also be a relay built into the monitoring node to allow the consumer to fully disconnect and their device from the power.
