S.P.O.C is a conceptual implementation of the potential to improve our environment with solar powered electric vehicles. The driving idea behind the project was that a vehicle no longer needs to be limited by its battery capacity when it is able to charge while in use. Through the use of solar technology and intuitive drive circuits, the user is able to choose how S.P.O.C. performs in one of three primary drive modes. The drive modes allow users to extend battery life, charge while driving, and of course dissipate all sources for maximum vehicle performance. Overall the project proved to be a challenging, yet rewarding, glimpse into the future of electric and solar transportation technology.
