The Plant Automated Sustainable System (PASS) is a device that automates the maintenence needed for plant growth. The plant resides in a compact enclosure which also houses a controller, battery and various sensors. The sensors meausre vital conditions needed for plant growth such as soil moisture; if the soil is too dry, the water pump automaticlly activates. The onboard controller determines when to activate compoenents such as the water pump. A compact battery or solar array supplly power. The solar array is connected to a solar tracking device to maximize effiency. In addition to these features, this project incorporates a Bluetooth module to send and recieve data regarding the status of the plant over a small network.
