To all that have owned legos out there in the world. There must have been a point when all of your blocks end up like this:

Of course you can't just let that mess persist but at the same time there could be other things that can be done in the day. More important things. Like for parents doing their work, reading a book, cooking, and thing else besides picking up blocks so no one else steps on them. As well as the hard core hobbyist who is looking for a specific part to complete their Millennium Falcon model but can not find that last piece in the mountain of parts. Well with this project it can solve most of those problems with just a few user inputs.

The Electronic Lego sorter, an idea formed from Lego enthusiast and seller Katrina Little, and inspired by Lego enthusiast and Youtube user Akiyuki, Is a machine that uses image processing to sort Legos by color and by shape which will be determined by the user using a touch screen.
