Abstract


 

The design of the autonomous firefighting robot is mainly experimental for the group members. However, this project can be scaled up to be implemented in the real world. The purpose of this project is to have an autonomous robot go into a maze, find the flame and suppress it. The robot will navigate through the maze using the right hand rule. The goals of this project are to create a robot that will replace a firefightersÕ need to risk their life in a burning building, make the robot cost effective, and make the robot easy to maintain.
