The Solar Bike is system which stems from the idea of an electric bicycle, or E-bike. The standard E-bike comes with a motor, battery, and throttle control. Some E-bikes also incorporate other features, such as battery level detection or speed sensing. The Solar Bike includes each of the previously mentioned hardware and features, however, it also includes a solar panel which will charge a secondary battery, allowing for the main battery to provide power to the motor for greater lengths.
