Smart-home Blackout Shades

The project is a fully wirelessly connected blackout shade for smart home applications. The project sponsor, Jetsons Living, is a smart home technology installation/integration company. Jetsons Living is looking to add their own smart home blackout shades solution. The blackout shades will be Wi-Fi connected, run on battery or wired power, have programmable LED lighting, controllable via remote control, and will be able to interface with Amazon Echo. This project is different than currently available smart home blackout shades in the sense that it is a custom-made system for Jetsons Living with the intention of being a lower-cost solution than the current market.
