Chemical Manufacturing Process Automation

System

Project Description

Our project automates an existing chemical manufacturing system for our sponsor, Helicon. Through the use of an LCD and button configuration, the user may set up and run a process. Data from the process is saved to an SD card that the user can then retrieve. In the event of an error or emergency, the system is shut down safely through the use of an emergency button. Our project interfaces with Helicon's existing systems, and may be removed to return the system to manual processing.
