Indoor gardening takes a lot of time and effort to maintain, the Hygrower System seeks to simplify it for users. The system is primarily for indoor plant hobbyists or collectors looking to sell their plants. HyGrower automates plant care by providing light, nutrients, and optimal environments; to provide optimal care, the system is divided into three subsystems: light, water, and climate. The water subsystem automates the feeding and maintains proper nutrient levels. The lighting subsystem moderates the plant’s exposure to lighting. The climate system moderates humidity and airflow. A web application will be used to control the HyGrower unit and track the data within the system. Most indoor gardening systems are often expensive and cater to more vegetables, and herbs. Our system caters to houseplant care and we designed the system to be a budget and beginner alternative.
