An Intelligent IO Module for Alcorn McBride

The ever-growing presence of embedded systems technology in everyday life introduces the need for simplified control over devices. Advancements leading to greater control often come at the expense of complicated design installation, implementation, and maintenance. The goal of the Intelligent IO Module by Alcorn McBride is to take configurable discrete inputs from the user as well as support functional RGB LED controls. The new IO Module design is simplified from the previous design with seamless integration with current Alcorn McBride devices in mind.

Group 21 Team Members

Dimitri Cabrera is a 22-year-old Electrical Engineering student graduating in August 2023. Dimitri has accepted a position as a Systems Engineer with a focus on radar systems at Georgia Tech Research Institute. After graduation, Dimitri aspires to pursue a Masters in Electrical Engineering.
Bailey Hamerick is a 23-year-old graduating from the University of Central Florida with his degree in Computer Engineering. Bailey has accepted a firmware engineering position with Alcorn McBride Inc in Orlando Florida.
Elizabeth Milks is an Electrical Engineering student graduating in May 2023. Elizabeth has interned with Lockheed Martin and C&S Engineers. After graduation, Elizabeth hopes to join the workforce before attending graduate school.
