Musical Utility for Self-Education

Musical Utility for Self-Education (M.U.S.E)

Group 36

Project Description

As music becomes more accessible for everyone around the world, the technology that is utilized for music and music production must be as efficient as ever. Many individuals who desire to start a career or hobby in the music industry lack knowledge of essential concepts introduced in music theory. M.U.S.E is an innovative tool that aims to address this problem by providing users with options such as pitch shifting, and vocal layering based on a digital signal processing algorithm which measures the frequency of a user input sound. By simplifying complex concepts such as pitch shifting and layered vocals, M.U.S.E enables novice musicians to create high-quality music.
