Project Description

Project IRAS (Intricate Real-time Assistance Spectacles) represents the future of smart eyewear. These glasses offer two distinct modes: one displays real-time conversation subtitles, while the other provides color-enhancing patches for users with color perception challenges. We explore two design approaches: micro-OLED projection for virtual imagery and see-through LCD integration to maintain natural vision. The glasses feature a camera for live color analysis, a microphone for speech-to-text captions, and a warning system that alerts users to specific colors, enhancing their safety during high-speed activities.
