For our project we have decided to demonstrate the potential power that can be generated from the water that would flow through a single gutter. Our plan is
to funnel water into a vertical pipe with an estimated height of 8 feet so that the water flowing down can exit a nozzle with enough force to efficiently direct
that water into the buckets or blades of the Pelton turbine, after being used to rotate the turbine the water fall to the bottom of the turbine's enclosure
and be safely directed either to a container placed under the device or as runoff. While the turbine is rotating, the motor will be generating power that will
then be used to power an outlet to be used for external devices. LCD screens will display useful information pertaining to the power generated by the turbine,
status of the outlet, the power generated over time, the voltage and current at the outlet, and the current status of the battery. This device could act as a
supplemental source of reliable and renewable energy for large office buildings, shopping malls, and even small residences.
