Group 33: Self-Driving Robotic Platform

About the Project

This project involves building a self-driving platform, as of now its a skateboard, and implementing CV features on it. Some of the features that we want to implement include remote interaction, such as remote controls, as well as some type of way to interact with the environment. Currently, we are planning to attach a robotic arm as a way to interact with the environment. Once we have attached a robotic arm, we can focus on some of the strech goals. We can train a model specifically made for our platform, and our platform will be able to detect objects and move on its own. Right now, we are in the middle of fixing our motors, then we will need to make a new housing unit to fit our jetson nano, as well as other connectors. Many other goals can be found in the DC document.
