The Project

Our project focuses on the development of assistive lenses that can be utilized to improve the quality of life fo visually impaired individuals. With two primary features, auto-focus and color-identification, we aim to assist people who struggle with Presbyopia and color vision deficiencies. Since our goal is to assist visually impaired individuals, our system will relay information through a built-in speaker. In addition, we hope to develop more features such as text-to-speech. By developing assistive lenses with various features, visually impaired individuals can gain more independence in their everyday lives and facilitate many tasks that would normally require the assistance of another person.
