Project Overview
The Photoplethysmography-Based Heart and Oxygen Tracking Monitoring System (P.H.O.T.M.S) aims to help athletes monitor vital health statistics during exercise, particularly for runners. This system offers real-time monitoring of heart rate, oxygen saturation, and temperature using advanced optical sensors to provide accurate data even in high-motion environments.
Meet the Team
Jacob Shoemaker
Jacob Shoemaker is currently a senior at the University of Central Florida and will receive his Bachelor's of Science in Photonics Science and Engineering in May of 2025. His career goals are to enter the defense industry post-graduation.
Aaron Cadano
Aaron Cadano is currently a senior at the University of Central Florida and will receive his Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering in May of 2025. His career goals are to work in the renewable energy industry and work with one of the big companies like Enphase Energy.
Salman Hamada
Salman Hamada is currently a senior at the University of Central Florida and will receive his Bachelor's of Science in Computer Engineering in May of 2025. He plans on continuing to achieve his Master's of Science in Computer Engineering after receiving his Bachelor's degree.
