Project Description
The SignFlex Glove is a wearable device designed to translate American Sign Language (ASL) gestures into spoken words or text in real-time. It uses flex sensors, accelerometers, and gyroscopes embedded within the glove to accurately track finger movements and hand gestures. This data is processed through a microcontroller and transmitted via Bluetooth to a mobile app, which then translates the gestures into audible speech or readable text. The glove aims to bridge communication gaps between individuals who use ASL and those unfamiliar with it, promoting inclusivity and accessibility in various settings, such as education, healthcare, and customer service.
