SOAR - Swarm Operations & Autonomous Rescue
Develop a heterogeneous drone swarm capable of autonomous Search & Rescue operations, demonstrating coordinated task execution under real-world constraints.
Sponsored by Lockheed Martin
Overview
Our project, SOAR (Swarm Operations & Autonomous Rescue), was created to address the challenges of search and rescue in hazardous environments. We are developing a coordinated fleet of specialized drones designed to operate autonomously and collaboratively. By leveraging a range of advanced sensor technologies, these drones can rapidly detect, locate, and assist people in need, providing a safer and more efficient solution for emergency response operations.
