The Get Up Stay Up (GuSu) is an electrical and computer engineered solution to waking the user in a method of their choosing and making sure they get out of bed and begin their day on time. This is accomplished through the integration of MP3 decoding, a USB Flash Drive, FM tuner, tone buzzers, and a sensor system for detection of user presence. The system has a straight forward user interface that is represented through an OLED display, pushbuttons for setting changes, and a software control panel that will guide the user through the process of utilizing and setting the GuSu. This design is accomplished through the use of original software code and electrical design.
