Autonomous Hydroponics System

Group 15

The goal of this project was to make an automated hydroponic system that locally displays sensor readings and allow the user to engage automation subsystems through a touchscreen user interface. This system is intended to offload many of the tasks from the user as hydroponics can be an intensive hobby or profession, requiring constant monitoring and care of a setup’s parameters. To reduce the cost required to keep the system active, our project is designed for use outside with sustainable energy being harvested from the sun.
