Fish and Chips - Automated Aquarium

Description

Fish and Chips is a fully autonomous aquarium system developed for both businesses and personal use, alike. It it capable of feeding, maintaining temperature, lighting, and changing out the water (when necessary), provided it is attached to either plumbing or a large resovoir of fresh water. It aims to provide a low maintenance system which would allow an aquarium manager to remotely monitor the system and only periodically refill off-the-shelf consumerables for testing the water and refilling food.

The automation is acheived by using a Wi-Fi capable controller which polls our cloud service for configuration settings which the aquarium manager would initially set during the installation process of the aquarium. The advantage of the cloud is that remote viewing of statistical information and configuration editing is achievable without the need for any firewall settings applied to the host network.
