Automated Fixed Base Operator

The Airbud is an automated system that interfaces a VHF Aircraft Radio, Wind Station, and Raspberry Pi to deliver accurate wind information and transmit radio checks to pilots in the air and on the ground. By building an interface board that allows all components to communicate, the team developed a product that rivals other devices already in the field by being configurable and affordable.
