This product aims to help people with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, a condition characterized by a curvature of joints that limits a person’s limb mobility. This is a control system for a joint electrical-mechanical team effort to construct an exoskeletal arm. The arm assists with mobility with a first-of-its-kind hybrid design. It will be actuated by a stepper motor and cable drive to simulate the elbow movement, and a pneumatics system for hand control.
