Specialized Pool Light Analysis - Spectroscopic Home (SPLASH) Kit

This project’s design was created with the purpose of providing an efficient and easy way for consumers to access information about the health of their swimming pool water. We have decided to focus on this project as a result of what we believe to be an inefficient manner of testing the water for potentially hazardous chemicals. We strived to improve upon this standard of measurement with our idea of using spectrometry to gather information about the chemical composition of the sample.
