Custom Handheld Game Console & Physics Engine

We designed and prototyped a custom, handheld video game console along with a game engine to offer new and unique methods of interacting with video games. Unlike other consoles on the market, our hardware and engine allows game developers to create new experiences for players by making use of a plethora of sensors that can capture almost every aspect of the surrounding environment, including cardinal direction, voice, and muscle movements. Additionally, our console still includes traditional buttons and a joystick. All in all, our project gives players of all abilities more freedom to participate in the gaming experience.
