Project Description
Background
Photogrammetry is a widely used technology in various industries and applications, such as architecture, engineering, archaeology, and cultural heritage preservation, among others. It involves capturing images of an object and using software to create a 3D model and perform measurements. However, the manual process of taking pictures for photogrammetry can be time-consuming and prone to errors, leading to inaccurate results and reducing the efficiency of the process.
To address these challenges, this project is aimed at designing and developing an automated photogrammetry rig that can efficiently capture high-quality images of objects. The system will be designed to integrate cutting-edge technology to ensure accurate and consistent results, while also being user-friendly and easy to operate. The rig will be tested and evaluated in a controlled environment, and its potential for use in various industries and applications will be demonstrated.
The goals of this project include designing a highly efficient and automated photogrammetry rig, demonstrating its potential for use in various industries and applications, and creating a low-cost solution that is accessible to a wider range of users. By automating the photogrammetry process, this project aims to revolutionize the field and bring significant benefits to professionals and enthusiasts alike.
