Mini-AWACS - Airborne Warning and Control System

The overall objective of this project is to create a cost effective mini-AWACS which can be deployed on an aircraft to provide the US military's UAS the necessary radar and visual information required for safe operation. In order to meet this objective the mini-AWACS has to be able to gather Radar and IR information and provide this data to the UAS via StarlinkĀ® to a cellphone on the UAS as a proof of concept. The final objective of this project is to provide the US military with a system that gives them the ability to safely test and develop its UAS capabilities.
