This system was designed as a means to assist a Paratrooper (military parachutist) in the landing process by having a predetermined landing location and providing accurate GPS tracking data to the user via an interactive display. After landing, the system will assist the Paratrooper in meeting up with the rest of his squad by creating a mesh network that will track all friendly users.
Edgar Flores is a senior graduating in December 2015 with
a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. He plans to
pursue a Software Engineering career in Qualcomm. His
interests include Low-level Software Development, Embedded
Systems, and Computer Architecture.
Mauricio Diaz is a senior graduating in December 2015 with
a dual Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
He plans to pursue an Avionics Design Engineer career with The
Boeing Company. His interests include Testing and Integration,
designing simple hardware testing apps, and Low-level programming.
Hocine Moussaoui will be graduating from the University of Central
Florida with a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering
(December 2015). His primary interests lie in Power/Energy systems,
Control systems, and Communication systems. He currently is searching
for a job in the Electrical Engineering field.
Armando L. Negron Achecar is a senior graduating in December 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. He plans to pursue a career with AT&T as a Network Design Engineer. His interest include communication systems, embedded systems, and electronics.
