The PUVC is a portable UV water sanitation unit with active water analysis. The system works through intaking water, filtering it, sterilizing it, and then if needed, performing a post cleaning potability check through color analysis. The PUVC was mainly controlled via a Raspberry Pi in addition to other manual controls. The project was created as a portable water sanitation system for use in scenarios where a volume larger than a gallon is needed to be sanitized for consumption. To do this we attempted to fully understand the problem at hand.
