About Our Project
The role of the Farming Assistant & Solar Tracker is to provide extensive climate data over a nuanced region allowing the user to have easily accessible and accurate data. The F.A.S.T. is independently powered, can constantly gather data from an extensive sensor system, send the data between F.A.S.T. units such that the end user can receive data from all units just by accessing a single main unit through a star network. The F.A.S.T. also has a solar tracking features so ensure the power systems runs efficiently and independently. Ultimately the F.A.S.T. is a low maintenance, reliable, and scalable way to monitor and collect climate data for any region.

Jan is a senior computer engineering student at UCF. He is interested in embedded development and software engineering. He has a passion for learning and ECE. He is... the current president of the IEEE HKN – Zeta Chi chapter at UCF and will be graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors in December of 2020. Jan will be joining Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas as an Applications Engineer after graduation.

UCF Society of Sales Engineers. Savannah will be joining VMware in Austin, Texas as an Academy Solution Engineer after graduation.
