The Automated Ventilation Controller

Created to solve real-world problems

About the Project

Our project aims to take our sponsor Chris Neiger's analog vent controller system and update it to a digitally controlled system. We have built a controller and five sensors units to read the inside temperature and humidity of the warehouse, send it to the controller via BLE, compare our results to outside temperature and humidity collected via web scraping, and then change the position of the vents to cool the warehouse more efficiently. To make the system easier to use, we have installed a touch screen so that our project can easily be controlled in the warehouse and have a website where users can make profiles and remotely control the vents.
