Group 4: Miami Voice

The Miami Voice is a digitally-controlled analog vocoder, blending the idiosyncratic sonic charm of analog vocoding with the accessibility, price, and intuitive nature of digital interfacing. While digital technology is undoubtedly the go-to for most of our consumer market, there is a community of people who understand that the warm organic tones generated by analog electronics are things that cannot be replicated. We understand that too, and have created a product to the industry standard for people like us who want the unparalleled experience of using analog music-making technology, without all the hassle. Below, please find all of our documentation throughout the process of creating the Miami Voice. We used these documents to explain our thoughts, plans, and innovations, and are excited to see what future engineers can think of that will further carry this beloved piece of technology into the 21st century.
