We decided to dedicate our efforts throughout Senior Design 1 and 2 to construct a "Smart" chess board.
This chess board allows players to see what moves they can execute via LED lights, a perfect way to teach new players and keep them engaged. We plan to use our knowledge in areas such as sensors and embedded systems design to offer an innovative pathway into what can often be a daunting experience for some.
