This project's design is a device that actively tracks a light source emitting a certain wavelength. We will have a trasmitter That constains two arrays of infrared diodes. This array will be mounted on a gimbal that is gps assisted. The reciever side will have a quadrant phtodiode that will intercept the signal. It is also mounted on a gimbal that is gps assisted. The goal is to create an a tracking device that accepts an infrared signal and is able to establish a precise location as well as communications.
