Our project aims to develop a passive RF device detection and identification system designed for electromagnetic warfare (EW) and public safety applications. By combining advanced radio frequency (RF) sensing with synchronized image capture and secure optical communication, we seek to deliver real-time situational awareness in sensitive environments. This tool addresses a critical capability gap—detecting and identifying unauthorized RF-emitting devices without broadcasting any signal of its own. Whether enhancing battlefield intelligence, supporting disaster response, or safeguarding airspace, our system has the potential to transform how RF threats are monitored and managed across military and civilian domains.
