The overall goal of this project is to design and create a CLSM under $1000 with comparable specifications to other CLSMs on the market. Other goals of this project include the use of an open-source microscopy stage, utilizing an optical layout that reduces many different optical aberrations, designed without the need for galvanometers, while lowering the overall cost, and keeping image processing speeds up to commercial standards.
