We mechanically steer a directional transceiver on each mobile until a full 3-way handshake can be performed while the transceivers are in line-of-sight (LOS). The technique does not need GPS and uses randomized angular speeds during the steering. It has applications in RF-challenged environments and emerging mmWave and optical wireless bands.<\/p>\n<p>S.
