Teaching - Publications - I am a lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Fla. I received the Ph.D. and B.S. degrees in computer engineering from Iowa State University. My teaching interest is in the computer engineering curriculum. I have taught classes in the topics of digital systems, computer organization and architecture, embedded systems and introductory programming. I’m interested in teaching the individual classes as well as showing how all these topics merge and interact in the real computer systems. My research interest is in the area of wireless networks. I have worked mainly on the Wireless LAN environment and the IEEE 802.11 technology. Another activity I’m engaged in is the assessment of the computer engineering curriculum. We evaluate select classes, track performance and compare the performance year-over-year. This activity is part of our internal assessment, regional assessment and national accreditation.
