Maeve Casey -  is an Electrical Engineering student with a passion for creating energy efficient environments that encourage people to save electricity . Currently Maeve is an intern at the Office of Research and Commercialization where she has been introduced to the world of start-up ventures, through this experience she has seen the dreams of engineers take off as their products break into the market.  Additionally, this internship has played an important role in creating a project that is marketable to the general public.  After graduation, Maeve will be taking a job in Jacksonville with GAI Consultants as a Transmission Line Engineer where her passion for energy efficiency can take off as she helps repair our aging electrical grid.


Shawn McDorman is an up and coming electrical engineering major from Niceville Florida. He transferred to UCF after completing his Associate of Arts degree in Pre-Engineering at Pensacola State College. When not in the Classroom Shawn was on the UCF Baseball team and was a founding father that helped reestablish the Eta Psi chapter of Pi Kappa Phi at Central Florida. Shawn was offered a job at Humber-Garrick which is an engineering consulting company based in his hometown for postgraduate work.

Nicholas Mulqueen is a 23-year old Electrical Engineering student. Nicholas hopes to pursue a career in various fields of electrical engineering to get a good foundation of the work, before returning to school to pursue a Masters in a related discipline.
