The T100 Watch Dog is an autonomous surveillance vehicle that detects motion in a specific room and alerts the user(owner). Once motion has been detected, the vehicle will move towards the target and transition to a remote control mode allowing the user to control the vehicle remotely. In addition, a live video stream is shown to the user, allowing the user to have a live view of the surroundings. Optionally, the user can save snapshots of the stream to their device and view them at a later time.
The T-100 Watchdog utilizes mecanum wheels which allows it to maneuver in ways that other types of wheels cannot provide.
The T-100 Watchdog completes its tasks without any interaction required from the user.
Once the vehicle goes into remote control mode, the user can control the vehicle using the Android application.
Wireless Connectivity allows the T-100 Watchdog to be connected to the internet at all times allowing it to communicate with devices such as a computer or smart phone.
The T-100 Watchdog streams a live video feed to an Android device running the Android application.
By utilizing OpenCV, we are able to detect and track any target within the camera's view angle. Depending on the location of the target the vehicle will move towards the location of the target.
