Project Description

Our project is to make an instrument that can measure the polarization and pulse timing of a pulsar. Pulsars are a spinning neutron star that emit electro-magnetic (EM) radiation, typically in the radio wavelengths. Our goal is to design for radiation in the visible spectrum, which is emitted by the Crab Pulsar. This data can be useful in understanding pulsars more, as they have many fascinating properties.
