One Degree, Four Pathways

With a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCF, you can develop a skillset that’s desired in the aerospace, automotive and manufacturing industries. What makes our program unique is the structure, which offers four tracks that you can choose from:

  • Comprehensive Track – Covers the fundamental concepts of electrical engineering. 
  • Communications and Signal Processing Track – Apply theory and algorithms in the broad fields of communications, networked systems and signal processing.  
  • Power and Renewable Energy Track – Gain fundamental knowledge of power system operation and control.
  • RF and Microwaves Track – Take technical electives on a wide range of topics related to applied electromagnetics.

Each track can prepare you for a dynamic and exciting career in engineering.

CURRICULUM AND PROGRAM ADMISSIONS

There are no additional requirements for admission into the B.S. in Electrical Engineering beyond admission to UCF. However, program requirements differ for each track. Visit the undergraduate catalog for more information:

Students also have the option of pursuing the accelerated track, which allows them to earn a master’s degree as well as a bachelor’s degree. Qualified students may apply for the accelerated track upon completion of 64 credit hours. They may choose to complete a master’s degree in computer science, computer vision, data analytics, digital forensics or cybersecurity and privacy; however, acceptance into the accelerated track does not guarantee admission into the graduate program.

LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION
