Recharge your career with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCF. Students in the program receive a broad background in the areas of electromagnetics and optics, signal processing, and micro- and nano-systems.

CURRICULUM AND PROGRAM ADMISSIONS

The M.S. in Electrical Engineering requires 30 credit hours beyond the bachelor’s degree, including 24 credit hours of required courses and specialization courses. The remaining six credit hours will complete the thesis or non-thesis options.

The Guidance, Control and Dynamics Track is designed for students with a degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field. Student enrolled in this track  must complete nine credit hours of required courses, 15 credit hours of electives and six hours of thesis or non-thesis options. 

There are no additional requirements for admission into the program beyond admission to UCF.

The professional preparation you receive in our program may still assist you in such pursuits; however, we are unable to confirm the specific licensure and certification requirements of each state, territory, or foreign entity in which professional credentialing may be possible. If you intend to pursue such credentialing in your state or elsewhere, we strongly advise you to contact the applicable state credentialing authority to familiarize yourself with its specific requirements and determine if our program meets its academic criteria.
