Brain Stimulation Research Published at Nature Biomedical Engineering

April 12, 2021

ECE Assistant Professor Yuxiao Yang recently published a paper at Nature Biomedical Engineering, titled “Modelling and prediction of the dynamic responses of large-scale brain networks during direct electrical stimulation”. It presents a novel machine learning method to model and predict of the effects of electrical brain stimulation on the activity of large-scale brain networks. The new technology can enable precise neuromodulation for the treatment of neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders and facilitate the investigation of the functional organization of large-scale brain networks.
