Congratulations to Dr. George Atia

Dr. Atia has received an NSF award from the Division of Computing and Communication Foundations (CCF) to explore new ways to design learning and inference methods that are robust to distributional uncertainty and data corruption. The methods developed are likely to have significant impact on a wide range of applications in areas of societal importance such as healthcare, transportation systems, smart grids, and smart cities. This is part of a $1.2M project in collaboration with the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and the University at Buffalo. More details can be found here.
