Congratulations to Murat Yuksel for his two new research awards from National Science Foundation (NSF). The first award (https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=1836741) aims to design and build multi-element Visible Light Communication (VLC) modules for mobile devices. The second award (https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=1814086) is collaborative with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and explores peering techniques for improving traffic exchange efficiency among Internet Service Providers (ISPs) by using novel models for Internet eXchange Points (IXPs). Both of these new projects builds on his existing research on optical wireless systems and network economics.
