ECE/RISES Receives Two Awards

Today the Department of Energy’s Solar Energy Technologies Office announced the outcomes of fiscal year 2019 funding program. ECE/RISES received two awards: 1) Microdroplet Electrospray Localized Laser Printing and Sintering of Nanoparticles for Passivated, Carrier-Selective Contacts, $250,000, led by Kris Davis; 2) Autonomous Inverter Controls for Resilient and Secure Grid Operation, $3,800,000, led by Zhihua Qu.
