Lious is today named the Lockheed Martin St. Laurent Professor. This professorship is one of the four endowed professorships in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UCF.

Congratulations to Dr. John Shen, who was selected as the winner of the IEEE Region 3 Outstanding Engineer Award. Region 3 encompasses over 30,000 IEEE members across nine states in the southeastern US and Jamaica. This award is given in recognition of his contributions in very high density DC-DC power converters.
