Control Systems Laboratory

Engineering 1, Room 257

This laboratory provides Quanser laboratory control modules for students to learn to design, implement, and evaluate various control systems. In one experiment for example, the student is challenged to design a magnetic levitation control system to levitate and control a 1” steel ball to desired positions. The principles learned in this series of experiments apply to many control systems. Students use QUARC software and MatLab software for these experiments.
